I have been on vacation at a wonderful spot in Mexico. There was time to sleep late, walk miles on a virtually empty beach, linger at the palapa fish restaurant, read a novel or two, and cast our lines in the warm water and search for fish. There was also the luxury of time to just sit and watch the ocean waves and the wind move in the palm trees, and for my pen to slowly move across the page of my journal – taking stock, integrating, and planning for the future.
One thing that will definitely be in my future is coming back to this beautiful country because I’ve enjoyed my break more than I ever could have imagined. In fact, I’ve already started thinking about what my plans would be if I were to return. It mostly consists of the same sort of stuff, but one thing that will be different is my accommodation. My friend has been to Mexico on multiple occasions and has said that places like Exceptional Villas, (learn more about this here) are the perfect people to turn to if I wanted a luxurious villa to stay in. Apparently you can even get one that has the most amazing views, and I would love nothing more than being able to see all of Mexico from my villa. I’m getting excited just thinking about it. She’s told me to think about booking it soon in case all of the good villas go, but I don’t mind. Just being back in Mexico would be good enough for me. For now, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see about what my future has in store for me, but one thing is for sure, it looks clearer since my lovely little vacation break.
