The Man In Bogotá

“How do you know what happens to you isn’t good?”

So ends the spare and elegant short story by Amy Hempel, titled The Man in Bogotá. This text has been paired with archival pigment prints of Mary Daniel Hobson’s photocollages in this limited-edition, hand-crafted artist book designed by Charles Hobson and published by Pacific Editions in 2015. The book features letter-press printing, a concertina binding and comes in a cloth-covered box.
